Flinging Frosty

Overview

This is a 'Launcher Game' inspired by Burrito Bison or Super Toss the Turtle made for the Chill Jam in January 2023.

Controls

Click, Tap or Press 'Space Bar' to launch your Yeti and stomp on evil robots.

If you manage to fly high enough, the Yeti will perform his 'Meteor Stomp' special move.

Story

The Yeti has woken up from it's igloo to find that robots are invading the winter forest and destroying his home.

The Yeti must stomp on the robots to destroy them and save it's way of life, or it will be enslaved and forced to work long hours in the snow mines, so that the evil robot queen can buy her 19th mega-yacht with the profits from the winter forest resources and the subjugation of the Yeti race.

Features

I am using the jam themes 'Winter' and 'Robot Takeover' and the game play restriction of 'One Button'.

I have made the main character a Yeti, who is flying through the air and squashing a horde of invading robots, the game has a winter theme to the background and graphics.

There is a shop where you can buy upgrades in between runs, although the game is essentially endless, it gets more difficult the further along you get.

Development Status

I have decided to release the game, I may or may not add additional updates in the future.
